Puyallup, Washington

A roof is only as good as the person who put it on.

Cascade Ridge Roofing is a registered Washington roofing contractor working out of Puyallup. Replacement, repair, leaks, moss, and the flat sections other roofers would rather skip.

What we do

  • Roof replacement

Full tear-off and re-roof for asphalt composition and other residential roof systems.

  • Roof repair

Targeted repairs — flashing, vents, missing shingles, and the failures that show up as a ceiling stain.

  • Leak response

Active leaks: find the entry point, stop the water, then scope the permanent fix.

  • Moss & roof cleaning

The Puget Sound maintenance problem. Soft-wash and hand removal — never pressure washing, which strips granules.

  • Flat & low-slope

Torch-down and low-slope sections — garages, additions, dormers — which many roofers decline to touch.

How a job runs

  1. Look at it

We come out, get on the roof, and tell you what we find — including if the answer is a repair rather than a replacement.

  2. Written scope and number

What's being torn off, what's going back on, and what it costs. Washington requires a written contract on roofing work over $1,000, and that is a protection worth having.

  3. Schedule around the weather

Tear-off gets scheduled into a dry window. Once underlayment is down, shingles and flashing can go on in light rain. Flat and torch-down sections genuinely need dry conditions.

  4. Build it, then clean up

Decking gets checked once the old roof is off — rot is the one thing nobody can price before they see it. Yard and gutters get cleared before we leave.

What moves the price

Nobody can quote a roof from the street, and anyone who does is guessing. These are the things that actually change the number:

  • Square footage and pitch — steeper roofs are slower and need more fall protection.
  • Layers to tear off — a second or third layer is disposal cost before any new material goes on.
  • Decking condition — rot is found after tear-off, so it is priced as a rate, not a guess.
  • Material — composition, cedar, metal, and torch-down are different jobs at different prices.
  • Access and complexity — valleys, dormers, skylights, chimneys, and steep driveways all add time.
